Join us for an evening of poetry and performance
Welcoming poets, authors, and speakers who will each share their work and that of a Palestinian author.
A reading of ’WELCOME TO GAZA’ which based on short plays written by schoolchildren in Gaza and the West Bank will also be presented. The play is about life in Gaza before October 7th 2023, and are being judged in a competition. This framework contrasts the depiction of life before October 7th with real-time text updates from Gaza during the judging, highlighting the urgency surrounding the current situation.
